The 3èmes in London

The 3eC and D students of Jacques Monod went to London on the 4th of November 2016. The 3eA and B visited London on the 10th of November. They are all studying the First World War in English and History class.

The following article was written by the 3Ds (Also here).

We left Pérenchies at 6am. We took the shuttle at 8am. We arrived in London at 10 o’clock.

In the morning, we visited the WWI section of the Imperial War museum. It was very interesting.

We interviewed people in the museum to know what they thought about the WWI, if they liked the museum, etc. It was fun to speak English !

After, we ate our picnic in the park of the museum. We ate with the pigeons and fed some.

We finished lunch before 1pm and it started raining… It rained all afternoon but we didn’t mind !

Then we walked around London to see the famous monuments. We saw London Eye, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. We met squirrels in St James’ Park, they’re so cute ! We also saw the Horse guard’s parade, 10 Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Westminter bridge and the Parliament. We saw double-decker buses, the Nickelodeon shop, British flags, Queen’s guards, red telephone boxes, etc. We took a lot of photos !

We went shopping in a big souvenir shop and in M&M’s world.

There was a lot of traffic in the evening, we were late for our shuttle. So, we got back at midnight but it didn’t matter.

It was a great trip ! We had so much fun and would love to go again !!!
